We’re approaching Pittufik, and it’s time to wrap up this incredible expedition. The journey has been a “formidable” success, with research conducted around the clock. KTH has been instrumental in many of the key activities, including:
– Helicopter-launched XBT deployments in the inner part of Victoria Fjord
– 3D scanning of icebergs in Victoria Fjord
– Mapping of shallow waters, ice margins, and the outflow channel in Petermann
– Development and measurement using helicopter-borne depth measurements (WBAT)
– CTD sampling, sampling and sampling
– Multibeam mapping
Soon, we’ll disembark from the Oden and head home aboard a Swedish Air Force Hercules. For those who have been following my blog, I hope you’ve enjoyed the updates. Stay tuned for more adventures—my calendar is packed with exciting plans! You can follow us on LinkedIn.
